Welcome to Kali Studios. By visiting kali-studios.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before buying.

1. About Us

Kali Studios (kali-studios.com) sells handmade gel press-on nails, based in Portugal and shipping across the European Union. For any question, contact us at support@kali-studios.com.

2. Products

Our press-on nails are handmade, so slight variations in shape, finish and detail from set to set are normal and part of their charm.

  • Each set is made in a single size. The size shown is based on the average size of each nail, and the nail file included in the box lets you trim and adjust the fit.
  • Each box contains the reusable gel press-on set, nail glue, adhesive tabs, a nail file, a cuticle stick and a small surprise gift (usually stickers).
  • Product photos are AI-enhanced from a real photo of the set. Only the first photo of each listing is verified against the original set, so please rely on it for the real appearance of the product. Other images are illustrative.
  • Stock is limited and many sets are made in very small quantities. If a set is no longer available after you order (for example, due to a stock error), we will contact you and issue a full refund.

3. Orders and Payment

  • Prices are shown in euros (EUR). Applicable taxes and shipping costs are displayed at checkout before you pay.
  • Payment methods are shown at checkout. Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email.
  • We do not store your payment details. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers through Shopify.
  • We reserve the right to cancel an order in case of a pricing or listing error, or suspected fraud, and will refund any amount already paid.

4. Discounts and Promotions

Discount codes (including newsletter welcome offers) are valid only for the stated conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be combined with other offers unless stated. We may withdraw a promotion at any time without affecting orders already placed.

5. Shipping

  • We ship to all countries of the European Union.
  • Orders are prepared and dispatched within up to 3 business days after payment is confirmed.
  • We ship mainly with CTT. Estimated delivery times and shipping costs are shown at checkout.
  • Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the carrier, holidays or events outside our control.
  • Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct. We are not responsible for orders delayed or lost because of incorrect or incomplete address details provided at checkout.
  • Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

How to return an order:

  1. Email us at support@kali-studios.com within 14 days of receiving your order, stating your order number and that you wish to return it.
  2. We will reply with the return instructions and address.
  3. Send the item back within 14 days of notifying us.

Conditions:

  • For hygiene and health protection reasons, only unopened and unused sets can be returned. Sets that have been opened or used cannot be returned or refunded.
  • The set must be returned in its original, sealed packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Refunds: Once we receive and check the returned set, we will refund the price of the product and the standard shipping cost originally paid, using the same payment method as the original purchase, within 14 days of receiving the return.

7. Size Exchanges

We offer size exchanges for unopened and unused sets, subject to the requested size being available in stock. Contact us at support@kali-studios.com within 14 days of receiving your order, and we will explain how to proceed. Return shipping for exchanges is paid by the customer. If the requested size is not available, you may choose to return the set for a refund instead, under Section 6.

8. Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged, or a set has a defect, please contact us at support@kali-studios.com within 14 days of receiving it, with your order number and clear photos showing the problem. After reviewing your request, we will offer a replacement (if in stock) or a refund.

This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity that applies to goods under Portuguese and EU law.

9. Custom Orders

We currently do not accept custom or made-to-measure orders.

10. Proper Use and Safety

Our press-on nails and the accessories included are intended for cosmetic use by adults. Please read any instructions included in the box before applying. Stop using the product and remove it if you experience irritation or discomfort. Keep nail glue and small items out of reach of children, and avoid contact with eyes and skin. If you have known allergies to cosmetic adhesives, check the materials before use.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including photos, text, logos, product designs and graphics, belongs to Kali Studios and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use it commercially without our prior written permission.

12. Liability

We do our best to keep the website and product information accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it will always be free from errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, Kali Studios is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or products. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, or your mandatory consumer rights.

13. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law (GDPR). Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your data.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@kali-studios.com and we will do our best to resolve it quickly.

You may also use the Portuguese Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (www.livroreclamacoes.pt) and contact a Portuguese alternative consumer dispute resolution (ADR) entity. Information is available at www.consumidor.gov.pt.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
